Welcome! This website has been developed to provide the public with information and details about the Various-Intersections construction project in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia. This website will be updated bi-weekly during the construction phase of the project, which is anticipated to run from mid-August 2008 through August of 2009. Check back frequently for updates on the work, including any anticipated traffic delays, lane closures, and pedestrian route changes. Check back often for updates.

The Various-Intersections construction project is a collaborative effort by the Town of Blacksburg and Virginia Tech to improve several intersections. This work will improve traffic movements and ease traffic congestion on Town streets and within the Virginia Tech campus.

  • Funding: Urban Construction Dollars from Virginia Department of Transportation
  • Contract Amount:$2,800,000

Work Hours: The Town of Blacksburg ordinance allows contractors to work 7am - 7pm seven days a week.
